Why ART is a Faster Alternative for Trauma Recovery

What Makes ART Different?
While both therapies use bilateral stimulation to help the brain process difficult memories, ART is often more streamlined:
Speed of Resolution: Traditional trauma therapies can take 8 to 12 sessions. With ART, many clients experience a significant shift or total resolution in just 1 to 5 sessions.
No Need to Retell the Story: One of the biggest barriers to healing is the fear of having to describe traumatic events in detail. ART is largely non-verbal. You process the images and sensations internally while being guided by a Practitioner, meaning you don't have to voice the pain to heal it.
You Are the Director: In an ART session, we use a specific "Director" technique that empowers you to voluntarily "edit" how traumatic images are stored in your brain. You keep the facts of what happened, but you lose the emotional "sting" and the physical distress that usually comes with the memory.
